About the Role

What you are:

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager who is never willing to settle for “good enough”. You’re a self-starter that isn’t above getting your hands dirty or using a little elbow grease. You thrive on keeping things running through chaos and ambiguity. You’re a detail oriented person that can solve problems creatively and effectively. You work smarter, not harder. Our operation runs 24/7, and you’ll go above and beyond to make sure the 6,000 sq ft facility can keep up.

What you are not: Discouraged by disorder. Frustrated by malfunction. Afraid of change.



  • Ensure production environment and equipment runs smoothly and safely
  • Manage relationships with Linen, Sanitation, Compost, and Waste vendors
  • Manage major improvement projects without compromising food safety and production scheduling
  • Manage guests and visitors that enter the facility
  • Schedule equipment preventative maintenance and service calls with contractors 
  • Basic facility and equipment maintenance
  • Reinforce compliance of company policies related to safety, security, facility organization
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned


You have:

  • A great attitude
  • Handyperson skills 
  • Plant or shop experience preferably in the food industry
  • Proven project management skills
  • Understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
  • The ability to operate in ambiguous situations and be flexible as the organization changes and grows
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule with 10-15% of your time dedicated to special projects that may take place outside of normal working hours
  • Excellent communication, planning, and prioritization skills
